For years I worked with great pleasure and commitment at several elementary schools in Eindhoven. I started as a teacher and progressed to 'intern begeleider'. In these positions I gained a wealth of educational experiences and learned about all aspects of our beautiful profession.
My education is as varied as my interests. My love for children and their development led me to the PABO, where I obtained the Bachelor of Education degree at Fontys college. My need for more and solid background knowledge inspired me to study educational science at the Open Universiteit. And my enthusiasm for leadership and visioning led me to school leadership training. All these puzzle pieces now form one whole: Slimmerik! A fascinating and challenging sequel, in which for me everything comes together.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, biking, hiking, listening to music and watching documentaries. I can also greatly appreciate a visit to the theater or a museum, especially if it is in an unfamiliar city, so that I can discover the city at the same time. In addition, I occasionally volunteer to contribute to the neighborhood association in my own neighborhood.
